Preacher’s Binder Copper Brown
The preacher’s binder is the staple of Ad Astra. We’ve been honored to make hundreds of these since starting. Each binder is made from chrome x-cel leather sourced from an over 100 year old family own leather store in Indianapolis, IN. Construction of the binders uses Chicago screws to hold in the binder hardware. So, if the hardware malfunctions, replacements can be added and the leather can continue to serve you!

Chrome X-Cel tanned leather has great “pull up” meaning that where it stretches it will lighten in color thereby aiding the patina process. Both stretches and scratches can be removed by either rubbing the effected area or with a blow dryer while rubbing the oils in the leather back into the scratch or stretch.
